Everton step up chase for Southampton midfielder

This was not an ideal season for Everton. Everton are interested in Southampton’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and according to several reports, including the Telegraph, the Saints have accepted their bid. But that might not necessarily be true, as there are other sources claiming Southampton are still do so. What we do know for now is that Everton have made a bid and that it is around 25 million pounds. The midfielder has one year left on his current contract.

Ancelotti sees Hojbjerg as a much needed improvement for his weak midfeild and it was reported Tottenham are also following this situation closely.
