Everton still interested in Augustin

According to recent reports over in Italy, Premier League side Everton consider Jean-Kevin Augustin as one of their primary targets for the upcoming summer transfer window. The Toffees are in the market for a new goalscoring striker, with Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin both failing to set the world on fire at Goodison Park. Augustin, on the other hand, scored nine goals in 14 appearances last season, although he hasn’t been given much game time for RB Leipzig this season in comparison. At just 21 years of age there’s still plenty of time left for him to develop and improve, which can only be a good thing for Everton.

Augustin made the jump over to German football back in 2017, leaving French champions Paris Saint-Germain in the process. He is a featured member of France’s under-21s squad, with many tipping him to be promoted to the senior squad at some point in the not so distant future.
