Monaco winger Frederic Nimani has joined Ligue 2 outfit Nantes on loan. The 21 year old has been signed by the Canaries as a replacement for disappointing Cameroonian forward Christian Bekamenga, who has been shipped out to Greek side Xanthi.
Marseille born Nimani is a product of Monaco’s youth system. He has previously had loan spells at Lorient, Sedan and Burnley. Nimani was also once reportedly a target for the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid in the winter of 2008.
Nimani has been capped by France at U-21 level.
Nantes finished 15th in Ligue 2 last season with 45 points, 24 less than champions Brest.
