Forster heading back to Celtic

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster is set to have a medical with Scottish giants Celtic over a potential return to the club. Forster left the champions five years ago in search of a brand new opportunity, and he found that with the Saints. However, he is now considered to be a third choice keeper at the south coast club, being stuck behind both Angus Gunn and Alex McCarthy.

The belief is that the potential deal will be done on a loan basis, with an option to buy being put forward by Celtic. This will be seen as a great opportunity for the 31 year old to reignite his career, after failing to make much of an impact as of late.

He’s certainly an intimidating presence and has a lot of potential, and now, he just has to try and fulfill that on the big stage.
