He’s also friendly and funny off the pitch, and jokes with us in the dressing room. Jose was crucial in my decision to join Manchester United and I’m grateful for his interest in my football.”
Those are the words of Fred who confirmed in a recent interview with FourFourTwo that Jose Mourinho played a big role in helping him make a decision regarding his future. The Portuguese boss has been experiencing something of a resurgence in recent weeks, to the point where many feel as if he could now keep his job at Old Trafford after he initially seemed destined to get the sack.
Fred has a great deal of potential at United, and it’ll be interesting to see whether or not he can continue to live up to the hype.
