Fulham go after Palhinha

According to a recent report from A Bola, Fulham may beat Wolves to the signing of Sporting Lisbon star Joao Palhinha.

The big focus for Fulham over the course of the next few months is going to be getting their squad ready for a major Premier League return. They’ve been viewed as little more than a yo-yo club in recent years given their tendency to bounce up to the top flight before heading swiftly back down to the Championship, with the big aim being for them to finally break that trend this time around.

It’s going to be easier said than done, obviously, but this is the kind of thinking they need in the summer transfer window.

Joao Palhinha has been tipped as a possible replacement for Wolverhampton Wanderers star Ruben Neves who, as of this writing, is expected to leave Molineux at some point in the weeks ahead.

However, the Cottagers plan on hijacking that deal by getting him over to the capital instead.
