Ryan’s current deal is set to last until 2020, and the club are said to have opened talks earlier this year regarding an extension. It’s no secret that the Cottagers have struggled in the early stages of the season, and they’re considered to be one of the favourites for the drop. If they want to ensure that they avoid such an outcome, then locking Sessegnon down to a long term deal could be absolutely vital.

The 18 year old played a big role in helping Fulham to gain promotion from the Championship last season, and as a result, he gained the attention of many top clubs around Europe. They weren’t able to lure him away, though, but now, it’ll be intriguing to see whether or not he’s willing to commit his long term future to Fulham.
