Fulham reject Spurs bid for Sessegnon

The Metro understands that Fulham have rejected a bid from Tottenham Hotspur for full-back Ryan Sessegnon.

The seventeen year old has been in demand since impressing last season – his first turning professional, with both Manchester United and Liverpool both linked with a move to secure his services.

Tottenham, who are yet to make a single new signing this summer have now followed up their interest with a bid of £25m though the Cottagers have rejected the offer out of hand as they look to secure promotion back to the top flight having been back in the second for the past four seasons.

Sessegnon made thirty appearances in all competitions last season, scoring an impressive seven goals while he has appeared in all four of their games so far this campaign.

Internationally he has represented England at U16, U17 and U19 levels making eleven appearances for the latter, scoring four goals.
