Sivasspor are out of the Turkish title race following a defeat by leaders Galatasaray. Fenerbahçe do still have a chance, having beaten Gençlerbirligi at home.

In a spectecular match in Sivas, Galatasaray eventually walked away with the points and a 5-3 victory.

Three of Galatasaray’s goals were scored by Turan, with Akman and Hakan Sükür netting the others. Sivasspor scored through Rigobert Song (own goal), Yildiz and Badur.

Fenerbahçe beat Gençlerbirligi 3-2 with goals from Edu Dracena, Semih and Deivid de Souza, while the visiting side did something back through Floresta and Aslantas.

‘Gala’ have 76 points with just one match to go, and Fenerbahçe follow at three points. Sivasspor have six points less than the leaders and can’t even be sure of their third place at this point as Besiktas have the same amount of points.

Next week, Galatasaray can finish it at home against Oftasspor. Fenerbahçe play away to Trabzonspor.

Galatasaray only need one point to secure the championship.
