Manchester United defender Gary Neville is set to make his return after being sidelined for three months because of a groin injury.

Neville reportedly recovered from the injury he suffered in January and might well feature in Sunday’s Premiership clash with Aston Villa.

The veteran’s return could not be more welcome as fellow right-backs Wes Brown and Rafael da Silva both injured.

United are currently in first place with one point more than Liverpool and a game in hand.
