Gerrard issues Rangers warning

“For any clubs looking over our fences, if you want our top players, you have to come with top, top money. That’s the only message I’ll ever say on any of my top players. Top money, that’s it”.

Those are the emphatic words of Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, as the Scottish club prepare for a series of offers to come in for their biggest stars. Rangers currently find themselves at the top of the Scottish Premier League table, as the battle between themselves and bitter rivals Celtic continues.

The January transfer window is right around the corner and it appears as if the former Liverpool star is more worried about outgoings than incomings, as they gear up for what will certainly be a hectic second half of the season.

A handful of Rangers players have been linked with a move away from the club, but for now, Gerrard can rest easy knowing that he is building something that could potentially be quite special at the club.
