Knowing that a victory on Sunday could see them break into the top-four, a high-flying Getafe will welcome Real Valladolid to the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez this weekend.

Starting with the hosts, putting in another dominant display and securing their spot in the knockout stage of this year’s Europa League thanks to a 3-0 victory over Krasnodar in midweek, the mood in Getafe’s camp couldn’t be any higher. Still dreaming of landing a debut Champions League campaign next year, the Blues are in the midst of a four-match winning run and have continued to impress with their performances at the back. Recording four clean sheets in each of their previous victories, Head Coach José Bordalás has seen his side remarkably concede just a single goal in any of their last five La Liga appearances.

As for the visitors, after playing out back-to-back 0-0 draws against Real Sociedad and Celta Vigo since opening December, Real Valladolid are gaining a reputation for their continued issues in the final third. Failing to record a single strike in any of their previous four matches on the bounce, a run that stems back to the 3rd of November, it should also be noted that Sergio’s men have also failed to find the net in back-to-back matches on the road. With Getafe landing a 1-0 win the last time Valladolid made the trip to the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez back in January, we’re backing a similar outcome this weekend.
