Gracia set for new Watford deal

As reported by Sky Sports, Watford manager Javi Gracia is on the verge of signing a new three year contract with Watford. This would be a huge moment in the recent history of the club given that they’ve had 10 managers in the last six years, as they tend to just hire a new boss every so often in order to ‘mix things up’. Alas, things have been so good for the Hornets this season with Gracia, as they currently find themselves 8th in the table with a realistic chance of challenging for the European spots.

He was appointed initially back in January and he did a great job of guiding them away from the relegation zone, and now, they can start to look ahead to a brighter future.

If nothing else, at least Watford fans don’t need to worry about more big changes – at least not for the next year or so.
