Gundogan could join Barcelona or Juventus

According to a recent report from Bild, Ilkay Gundogan would prefer to sign for Barcelona or Juventus if he leaves Manchester City.

On the final day of the season, Ilkay Gundogan became the ‘Aguero’ of the club’s most recent title success as he scored twice to help them become Premier League champions and retain their crown.

However, despite many successful moments during his stint at the Etihad, there has been talk that he may be turfed out during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Pep Guardiola is constantly looking to grow and evolve as a manager and in doing so, he has to think about who he has at his disposal within his squad – and who may be of interest to teams overseas.

Gundogan is a wanted man and while it’s not clear as to who it is that wants the departure to happen, there’s enough talk to warrant some real speculation in the months ahead.
