According to a recent report from Sunday Mirror, Mino Raiola wants to try and make Erling Haaland the first footballer to be paid £1m-per-week.

Right now there’s no way of getting around the fact that Haaland is one of – if not the – best striker in world football. Despite how young and inexperienced he might be, he continues to score goals for fun with Borussia Dortmund. At this stage it seems likely that the summer transfer window is going to be a huge moment in the Norwegian’s career and it’s hard to figure out where he’s going to end up.

From La Liga to the Premier League there’s a whole lot of interest from some of the best clubs in world football. We don’t think any would pay him one million pounds per week right now, but in the future, he’s definitely the kind of player who could qualify for such an honour.
