Harry Kane 4/6 to score anytime against Newcastle in Sunday’s Premier League showdown

Looking to pile even more pressure onto Newcastle this weekend, Tottenham will mark their return to action when they travel to St. James’ Park on Sunday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, putting in what was a woeful display when heading into March’s international break, Newcastle really have the feel of a club in crisis. Still firmly at the heart of a relegation scrap and many feeling they’re the leading contender for the drop this season, Steve Bruce finds the pressure on him at a boiling point. Last seen earlier in the month getting hit with another dreadful 3-0 hammering at the hands of Brighton on home soil, the one-time Sunderland boss has seen his side fail to win any of their last six Premier League contests. Gaining a reputation for their issues in the final third and still unable to call upong attacking talisman Callum Wilson, it should also be noted that Newcastle have won just a single matchup at St. James’ Park in their last eight attempts, a run that stems back to December 12th.

As for the visitors, while those back-to-back defeats and their shock Europa League departure last month might have seen real pressure on Tottenham, Spurs managed to make a much-needed return to winning ways. Last seen heading into the international break with a 2-0 win against Aston Villa on the road, Jose Mourinho will be calling on Harry Kane to lead their charge this weekend. Finding the net in England’s 2-1 win against Poland earlier in the week, the 27-year-old has enjoyed another hugely impressive campaign this year. Continuing on his free-scoring run while on international duties, Kane has now scored in his last three straight contests for club and country. In fact, racking up 29 goals so far this season and bagging a brace in his last trip to St. James’ Park, he should be confident of extending on his run this weekend.
