Much has been said about Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz still having a lot to do to justify the money Liverpool spent to sign them during the summer, but perhaps there hasn’t been enough said about the impact Hugo Ekitike has made since joining the Reds.

The 23-year-old striker has so far scored 11 goals for Arne Slot’s side, and he leads the chart for the club ahead of Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai (five each).
