Herrera didn’t want Manchester United exit

“When I look back a year ago, my intention was not to leave Manchester United,” Herrera said.

“I disagreed with some of the decisions they made but this happens in football. It happens in every company.”

Those are the words of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ander Herrera who has confirmed that he did not want to leave Old Trafford when he made the jump over to the French capital on a free transfer. Herrera is widely considered to be an underrated midfielder in the context of world football, and many United fans were sad to see him go – especially on a free transfer.

Now, we’re at a point where the Red Devils are going back out into the market as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer attempts to strengthen their squad. Whether or not Herrera would be interested in coming back is a different matter altogether, but you’d have to imagine it’s something that both parties would consider.
