Howe comments on Wilson’s future

“Yes, we are confident [about Wilson remaining with Bournemouth]. We are certainly not anticipating losing players in January that we don’t want to”.

Those are the short and sweet words of Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, who has made it known to the world that he doesn’t believe Callum Wilson will be leaving the club in the January transfer window. Wilson has been on fire in the Premier League this season and has helped the Cherries to continue their push for a spot in the top half, which validates the claims that many made about how he is indeed a top level striker in the making.

Wilson would likely improve the attacking options of many clubs in the top six and around Europe, but he seems to be dedicated towards helping Bournemouth throughout the remainder of the campaign. If he keeps up this current form heading into the summer, though, we could see some major offers come in for the Englishman.
