Jansen linked with Monchengladbach move

Borussia Monchengladbach are readying a £12m move for Tottenham Hotspur forward Vincent Janssen, according to Talksport.

The twenty-four year old has struggled to find his best form since signing for Spurs twelve months ago, and the Bundesliga outfit are ready to offer him a route out of North London.

Tottenham shelled out £17m for the Netherlands international though he managed just two goals in twenty-four Premier League appearances last term.

He did bag two goals in each of the domestic cup competitions but Spurs are likely to cut their losses as they look to strengthen ahead of another season in the Champions League, where they will be keen to improve on last season’s efforts.

Prior to his move to England he scored thirty-one goals in forty-nine appearances for AZ Alkmaar while he also has an impressive return for his country, for whom he has hit seven goals in thirteen caps.
