Javi Manquillo in high demand

Atletico Madrid full-back is being linked with a number of high-profile sides, AS has moved to reveal.

The talented footballer has impressed during the loan spell with Marseille, making a total of 31 league outings for OM.

While establishing himself as a first choice right-back, Manquillo also successfully played on the left hand side, seeing his stock rise a great deal in the process.

AS, however, claims that the youngster is not in the first team plans of Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone and he will be allowed to move on at the end of the season.

The difficult financial situation is likely to prevent Marseille from turning his loan deal into permanent move, but the 22-year-old could be staying in France as Monaco and Bordeaux are interested in his services.

Meanwhile, Serie A move is enough possibility, seeing as how both Juventus and AS Roma hold Manquillo in high regard.
