According to a recent report from Calciomercato, wonderkid Joao Felix could push for a move away from Atletico Madrid in 2021.
The 21-year-old has been attracting attention from across Europe in recent weeks and the reason is simple – he isn’t happy. Felix is said to be frustrated with his current role at Atletico and will view 2021 as a golden opportunity to see what’s out there for him in the rest of the market.
The signing of Felix was hailed as a masterstroke when Atletico were finally able to get it over the finish line but he hasn’t quite been able to settle into life in Madrid thus far. Whether or not there’s a chance he could turn things around remains to be seen, but Atletico have always been a club that has refrained from being too trigger happy in the transfer window.
Now, it all comes down to just how deep Felix’s unhappiness goes.
