Joe Cole skips Cluj trip

Chelsea will be without Joe Cole for their Champions League clash with CFR Cluj. The midfielder reportedly suffers from a hip injury.

Cole, who has been showing good form in recent games, was also forced to miss Saturday’s Premiership game with Stoke City.

Ivory Coast striker Salomon Kalou did travel to Romania despite some minor physical issues, but Deco and Ricardo Carvalho still have some time to go until their return.

To complete the squad for their trip to Romania, Luiz Felipe Scolari added two youth players: Goalkeeper Rhys Taylor and winger Miroslav Stoch.
