Fulham manager Martin Jol remains coy over the possibility of succeeding David Moyes at Everton.
The Dutchman’s name is among those linked with the vacancy at Goodison Park, which opened up this week following the news that Moyes will take over from Alex Ferguson at Manchester United next season.
And, though he said he is happy to see out the remaining year of his deal at Craven Cottage, Jol did not entirely dismiss the idea of a move to Merseyside.
“I wouldn’t be embarrassed to be linked with them. Everton are a good club,” he said.
“If you look when I was at Hamburg and Ajax they had their best win percentages (more than 60 per cent).
“But I am here at Fulham, have one year left, I’m happy and my family is happy here.”
Fulham will look to cement their place in the Premier League by surpassing the 40-point mark when they take on Liverpool on Sunday.
