Jonny Otto set for permanent Wolves deal

According to a report from Sky Sports, Wolverhampton Wanderers are closing in on the permanent signing of Jonny Castro Otto from Atletico Madrid. The Spanish international, who made his debut for Spain back in October, has made quite the impression on the Molineux faithful since joining on loan from Atletico back in the summer. The 24 year old full back is considered to be a fan favourite already, with his one and only goal coming against Southampton back in September.

Wolves are eager to get the deal over the line prior to the deadline for the January transfer window, and they seem to be fairly confident of accomplishing that. The proposed fee of £18 million would equal the sum they paid for Adama Traore during the summer.

Otto made a name for himself as a teenage sensation with Celta Vigo, before making the move over to Atletico. Otto has yet to play a single game for the club.
