Juventus could go after Werner

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Juventus are interested in putting forward a bid for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner. The popular German goalscorer has been turning heads all season long for the title contenders, and now, Juve could take another step towards putting forward an official bid.

Cristiano Ronaldo has allegedly made a request to the Old Lady that they go out of their way to sign a new world class striker for him to play alongside. While names like Mauro Icardi and Gabriel Jesus have also been mentioned, it seems like Werner is going to be their number one target.

They are almost certainly going to face some competition – mainly in the form of Liverpool. The Premier League champions are intent on bringing Werner to Anfield, and while they could well be the favourites, it may all come down to what kind of season both clubs have both domestically and in Europe.
