Juventus eyeing Juan Quintero; Real join race for Cuadrado

hot-transfer-newsJuventus eyeing Juan Quintero

Portuguese media outlet Record has learned that Juventus are keeping close tabs on FC Porto starlet Juan Quinterro.

With coach Max Allegri set to switch to 4-3-1-2 formation, the Bianconeri are on the lookout for a trequartista and the Colombian midfielder is one of the players they are looking at.

It is believed that the Dragons would require around €15 million for the 21-year-old footballer, although it is important to note they only own 50% of the player’s rights.

Juan Quinterro may have failed to nail down a regular starting berth at Estadio do Dragao, but he has been quite impressive every time he was called into action.

The talented youngster has already scored 6 league goals despite only making 7 starts and another 22 substitute appearances.

Quintero is already considered an important player for Colombia and he managed to score a goal in three outings at the 2014 World Cup.

Real join race for Cuadrado

Catalan daily newspaper Sport understands that Real Madrid are stepping up their efforts to sign Colombian full-back Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina.

The 26-year-old is reportedly Barcelona’s primary target to replace Dani Alves, but with the Catalans still banned from recruiting new players, their bitter rivals seem ready to steal the player from under their noses.

According to Sport, Real Madrid officials are already negotiating with Cuadrado’s representatives as they aim to wrap up the deal as soon as possible.

But, with the Colombia hotshot having been on the verge of joining Barcelona, he will probably wait to see whether the Catalans’ ban will be lifted before he agrees a move to Santiago Bernabeu.

Juan Guillermo Cuadrado has become one of world’s most sought-after footballers of late and it is believed that his release clause stands at €35 million.

The highly rated winger should be on the pitch when Colombia face Slovenia tomorrow afternoon, with los Cafeteros 7/10 favourites for the win.

Lazio and Marseille vying for Moreno

Lazio and Marseille are locked in the battle for Espanyol defender Hector Moreno, according to Le 10 Sport.

Both sides are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements and have now been linked with the Mexico star, who is recovering from a difficult injury.

Lazio and Marseille are expected to step up their interest in the January window, and they could be involved in a real bidding war.

Hector Moreno has been in fine form since joining Espanyol from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2011 and has so far featured in 99 La Liga matches.

The 26-year-old started all four matches for Mexico at the 2014 World Cup before suffering a broken leg in the Last 16 stage clash against Netherlands.

Moreno returned into action in Friday’s friendly against Marseille, with OM officials having a good chance to take another look at their long-term target.
