According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Juventus are set to abandon their plans to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traore.

The Spaniard was being monitored by the Old Lady over the course of the last few months but now, for whatever reason, they’re willing to step aside and allow the likes of Liverpool and Barcelona to battle it out for his signature.

Wolves have seen Matt Doherty and Diogo Jota leave the club during the summer transfer window and while they have been able to lock down Raul Jimenez and Nuno Espirito Santo to new deals, some fans have been wondering whether or not Traore would sign on the dotted line if he was also offered a new contract.

Whatever the case may be, it seems as if Juve are now going to be focusing the core of their attention on other targets as we look ahead to the January transfer window.
