Juventus to go after Chiesa

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Italian champions Juventus are set to go after Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa during the summer transfer window – but will need to offload Gonzalo Higuain before they can do so. The Argentine forward has already returned to the club following his brief loan spell with Premier League side Chelsea, but it already seems as if he’s going to be heading back out again. Fiorentina, on the other hand, are willing to listen to offers for Chiesa, who has been heavily linked with a move away from the club for a quite now.

Juve aren’t short on options within their first team squad, but given that they’re going after the Champions League title yet again in the upcoming season, it certainly can’t hurt to add a few more powerhouses into the mix.

Chiesa, despite only bursting onto the world stage recently, would certainly fit the bill in that regard.
