Kane to turn down Man United?

According to a recent report from The Mirror, Harry Kane will turn down a move to Manchester United in favour of staying with Tottenham.

The belief is that Erik ten Hag, who is set to become the club’s new manager, wants to pursue the signing of the Englishman, However, Kane’s potential switch to Old Trafford relied on them choosing Mauricio Pochettino ahead of ten Hag as their new gaffer.

Kane is reportedly happy in North London and wants to go on the hunt for Jimmy Greaves’ goalscoring record. Whether or not he can actually break it is an entirely different matter but beyond that, you’d have to think his motivation will soon become trophies.

He wants to win silverware and if Spurs can’t do that in the next few years, if he decides to stay, then a transfer will surely be inevitable – unless he can scoop a World Cup success with England.
