Kevin Kuranyi gives up on Germany

Dynamo Moscow striker Kevin Kuranyi admits that he is unlikely to play for Germany ever again.

Joachim Low has been overlooking former Schalke forward ever since he walked out on the team during the World Cup 2010 qualifier against Russia, even though Kuranyi has been in scintillating form ever since.

“I don’t understand this. If one looks at my career, they will see I have successfully played in various systems and my goals have always done the trick,” said Kuranyi.

“I don’t think I will be called by Low again, otherwise he would have done so long time ago. Realistically, that is not going to happen.”

The towering striker has been in very good form this season, scoring 5 goals in 7 games for his new club, but clearly that hasn’t help him in making Low change his mind.
