Klopp confirms post-Liverpool plans

According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Jurgen Klopp has reiterated that he wants to take a one-year break from football when he leaves Liverpool.

This kind of commitment from Klopp could serve as the final nail in the coffin of the idea that he’ll be going after the Germany job in the summer. Sure, it’s always possible that things can change or that he’s misleading the fans and media, but he does come across as the kind of guy who would want a break given the demands that this job entails.

Liverpool have had a tough season and there’s no way of getting around that, but there aren’t a whole lot of people who would outright blame Klopp. Sure, there are probably some things he could’ve done differently, but the same can be said for most managers.

If Liverpool are going to bounce back next season it’ll be under this man’s guidance.
