Kuyt reveals Inter offer

(GSM) – Liverpool’s Dirk Kuyt has revealed an official bid from Internazionale, who have long been linked with a move for him.

The reigning European champions are managed by former Reds’ manager Rafa Benitez, who has been tipped to move for many of his former charges.

And Benitez is believed to have lodged a £15million bid for the Netherlands international.

Kuyt has confirmed reports of a bid from the Italian champions but did not reveal details of the offer.

He has given no indication as what he intends to do next, but is reported to have told a Dutch newspaper: “On Thursday night, during the Europa League game against Trabzonspor, the board of Liverpool informed me officially that they have received a fax from Inter.

“You can call this a luxury situation for me now.”
