Las Palmas pushing for Samir Nasri deal

La Liga side Las Palmas are said to be working on a deal to sign former Arsenal, Manchester City and Sevilla midfielder Samir Nasri, according to Spanish reports.

The 30-year-old has been a free agent ever since leaving the Turkish side Antalyaspor back in January. The French midfielder spent last season on loan at Sevilla but spent the first half of the running season in Turkey where it sadly did not work out for him.

Nasri is now ready to have another try at La Liga with Las Palmas being granted permission to sign a free agent outside the transfer window due to Jonathan Viera’s recent departure to Beijing Guoan.

Former French international Nasri would be a valuable signing for La Liga strugglers who are currently sitting in 18th place in the standings, two points behind Levante in 17th and gapping nine points adrift of Espanyol in 16th.
