Lazio eye Chelsea winger ahead of summer window

The Serie A title race has seen Lazio get very close to Juventus, but now due to coronavirus pandemic, we do not know whether we will see Simone Inzaghi’s side actually try to overtake the Bianconeri. Whatever the case, we know that Lazio will try to get the best out of the summer transfer window, as they will want to make an impression in the Champions League next season.

And now according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio are looking towards England for new signings. One of them could be Pedro Rodriguez from  Chelsea. The Spanish winger is on Lazio’s radar, as the Serie A outfit are hoping to sign him and Olivier Giroud on a free transfer this summer. Pedro recently said in an interview that he will not be continuing his time at Chelsea, once his contract runs out this summer. That will probably be the case with Giroud as well and Lazio want to get the most out of that.

The 32-year-old winger could be signed as a free agent and without a transfer fee, potentially adding new options to Inzaghi’s team.
