Leicester don’t want to sell Chilwell

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Leicester City do not want to sell star defender Ben Chilwell – even if they are offered £50 million for him. The belief is that Chelsea and Manchester City are both very interested in signing the England international this summer, with Frank Lampard, especially, making him one of his biggest targets. However, Leicester believe that Chilwell is currently happy to be with the Foxes, who are leading the race to qualify for the Champions League ahead of the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal.

Leicester already sold one of their star men last summer in the form of Harry Maguire, and this time around, it appears as if they want to prove that they’re capable of keeping hold of a player like Chilwell.

Whether or not the money involved takes over as the most important factor in this equation remains to be seen.
