Leicester interested in Berardi

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Leicester City are interested in trying to sign Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi.

The belief is that Berardi has expressed his intention to leave Sassuolo and could be available for a fee of around £30 million once the transfer window opens again in January. The Foxes are pretty keen on trying to make the move happen but will face significant competition from both Fiorentina and AC Milan who want to ensure Berardi remains in Serie A.

Berardi is really starting to come into his own as a player and feels like the kind of player who would slot right into proceedings at the King Power. At the same time, though, Leicester haven’t exactly made the best of starts to the Premier League campaign, and they’ll want to ensure they can balance the Premier League with life in the Europa League before getting too excited about what’s next.
