Lingard wants Man United exit

According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Jesse Lingard is eager to push for a permanent departure from Manchester United this summer.

The Englishman is currently out on loan with West Ham United and has been since the January transfer window. In that time, the Hammers have enjoyed the very best of Lingard who, in many ways, has completely reinvented himself as one of the Premier League’s most in-form players.

Whether or not that becomes a permanent stay is a different question altogether, but if West Ham believe he can produce the goods over the course of an entire season and beyond, there’s no reason for them not to give it a go.

Manchester United would’ve seen the success he’s having and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has even commented on it, but if they don’t feel like there’s a place for him at Old Trafford, selling him seems like a reasonable and plausible idea.
