Liverpool go after Barnes

According to a recent report from the Mirror, Liverpool are keeping an eye on Leicester City star Harvey Barnes.

At the age of just 22, Barnes has served as one of the most impressive figures for the Foxes throughout the course of the season. He played a huge role in helping them make a strong push for the top four, and while they did drop off towards the end of the campaign, he’s still the kind of valuable figure that will demand a large fee from the Premier League champions.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is well aware of the areas that he needs to improve in during the summer, and he’ll also know how important it is to maintain some kind of harmony in the squad.

Barnes would almost certainly fit in very well at Anfield, but the real concern will be whether or not he is capable of locking down a regular place in the starting XI.
