Liverpool make bid for Cakir?

“There are offers for Cakir, we continue to receive offers. It’s been said Liverpool have made an offer,” Agaoglu said. 

“So a team that is undefeated in the Premier League wants my keeper. In other words Liverpool’s goalkeeper is in my goal.” 

Those are the words of Trabzonspor club president Ahmet Agaoglu who has made it clear that Liverpool have made some form of offer to try and sign goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir. It certainly seems as if he may be trying to stir up some interest from other clubs, but given the fact that the Reds have put so much into the development of Alisson as their number one goalkeeper, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them do the same for a strong and capable number two. 

There could well be nothing to these reports, but either way, Liverpool have the world of football talking about them right now from pillar to post and it isn’t going to stop any time soon.
