Liverpool speed up chase for Pepe

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Liverpool are more than willing to speed up the process of trying to bring Nicolas Pepe to the club. There is believed to be a growing interest in the Lille star, with the Reds being prepared to pay up to £70 million plus bonuses in order to bring him to Anfield. Pepe has been the source of great interest from all across European football, but in recent days, it has become clear that he is a primary target for Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp’s men are coming off the back of their Champions League final triumph over Tottenham Hotspur, with the belief being that they are going to make a few key acquisitions ahead of the new season. The Ivory Coast international has been on the verge of making a move away from Lille for quite some time now, and it appears as if the French club is well prepared.
