Llorente heading to China?

According to Marca, Tottenham Hotspur forward Fernando Llorente could be on the verge of ‘following the money’ and moving over to the Chinese Super League. The 33-year-old, who has struggled to find the back of the net in North London, could be offered an escape in the form of a big money deal in China. Given his age and the fact that he hasn’t been able to replicate his Swansea form with Spurs, this is a move that won’t really shock all too many fans or pundits.

Llorente has been viewed as one of Europe’s most underrated strikers for the last decade or so, but despite that, he’s still managed to carve out a pretty successful career for himself. The Chinese Super League, on the other hand, continues to recruit some of the biggest and best names in Europe as they attempt to rise up through the ranks of world football.
