Lolley pens new Forest deal

Joe Lolley has agreed a new four-and-a-half-year deal with Nottingham Forest, according to Sky Sports.

The twenty-six-year-old, who moved to the City Ground from Huddersfield Town just over twelve months ago has been rewarded with fresh terms after a string on fine performances.

A host of top-flight outfits were linked with a move for the winger last month, though he is not committed to the East Midlands outfit until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

He made his fiftieth appearance for the Reds in a win over Wigan Athletic two weeks ago, while his goal in the 3-1 win was his eleventh for the club.

Prior to his move to Forest, he played ninety times for Huddersfield Town, and was part of the squad that helped them achieve promotion to the Premier League in 2017.

Martin O’Neill’s side host Brentford on Saturday afternoon, with Lolley priced at 17/2 to open the scoring.
