“I would prefer not to continue in Germany [after the national team], I think that my future is more likely to abroad. Real Madrid? They are an interesting club for any coach”.

Those are the words of Joachim Low, as speculation continues over his future in the game. Low was able to guide the German national team towards World Cup glory four years ago, but in this past summer’s tournament, Germany crashed and burned at the group stage with many indicating that Low was one of the biggest problems.

Even with that ‘reputation’ of sorts, though, it seems as if he’s confident in the possibility of taking over at Real Madrid. While he certainly has the credentials, the question remains as to whether or not he’d be a good fit at the Bernabeu.

If it did indeed happen, the pressure on the shoulders of Low to deliver big results would certainly cause even more heightened interest in the club from around the globe.
