Recently transferred fullback Luciano Zauri expects his new team ACF Fiorentina of Florence to surprise everyone and be right up there come the end of the season.
The thirty year old defender who moved from Lazio during the off – season has been impressed by the more seasoned campaigners in the squad who both bring everyone together and have the ability to raise the levels of performance.
The former Lazio captain envisages a season where his new club will be in the top section of Serie A. It is also his ambition to see his new club compete with distinction in every competition.
He is especially impressed with the sideÂ’s defence and the fact that everyone is fully aware of his and the teamÂ’s role this will hold the side in good stead for the season.
Zauri has been capped five times for the senior Italian international side.
