Man City don’t want Grealish

According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Manchester City aren’t planning on signing Aston Villa star Jack Grealish this summer.

City boss Pep Guardiola admires Grealish and his abilities but he has no plans to actually bring him over to the Etihad just yet. City’s priority in the upcoming summer transfer window is said to be bringing in a defensive midfielder as well as a left-back and potentially a striker – which all but rules out the pursuit of Grealish.

That doesn’t mean the Englishman is going to stay at Villa Park, though, because as we know, a plethora of other top clubs in English football have shown their interest in him in the past.

At the age of just 25 he still has a lot of time left to grow and develop, so who knows, maybe jumping ship over to City is going to be a possibility at some stage in the future.
