Man City still want Cancelo

According to a recent report from Sport Italia, Premier League champions Manchester City have once again made it known that they are interested in signing Juventus defender Joao Cancelo. The belief is that Juve want £45 million in order to agree to the sale of Cancelo, and while money has never been an issue for City, it certainly seems like they want a better deal for him before they can commit to the idea of signing him.

City already have the most stacked team in Premier League football today, and perhaps in world football, but Guardiola wants to stack the deck even higher. He wants to ensure that they are stronger than they have ever been, which could lead to a very busy end of the transfer window for the club.

Then again, this could all be a bargaining tool, and City may just be waiting it out until the Premier League kicks off again.
