Man City want Semedo

According to a recent report from Sport, Premier League champions Manchester City have made contact with Spanish giants Barcelona over the possibility of signing Nelson Semedo. The defender has been linked with a move away from the Nou Camp for a while now, but the report suggests that they aren’t willing to let him go for a fee anything less than £90 million – which is his buyout clause. Semedo is one of the most exciting defenders in world football today and that will come as no surprise whatsoever, with City being one of the most fascinating clubs in world football, too. It seems like it’d be a match made in heaven, but breaking into the starting XI with one of the most exciting teams in the game is easier said than done.

Will Semedo be the missing puzzle piece that takes City towards a Champions League title? Only time will tell.
