Man City withdraw from Isco race?

According to reports in England, Manchester City are not going to offer Isco a deal and have ruled themselves out of the running to sign him. This will come as a surprise to many that in the last few days, it’s appeared as if the Premier League champions have been moving closer and closer towards securing a deal for Isco.

The midfielder is currently struggling to secure any consistent game time at Real Madrid, especially since the new manager has come into the fold. Pep Guardiola is believed to be a big admirer of him but that doesn’t appear to be enough in this instance, as City don’t want to crowd their midfield scene too much.

Isco probably won’t be short on offers to leave Real one way or another, but it did seem as if City fans were getting on board with the idea of signing him – although we wouldn’t be shocked to see a few more twists and turns to come.
