Manchester City consider Messi move

According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Manchester City are exploring the possibility of a move for Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

The Argentine has been heavily linked with a move away from the Nou Camp this summer, but many fans can’t even get their head around the idea that he may finally be leaving the club that he has helped to define in the last 15 years.

At the same time, while City may have the money necessary to get a deal like this over the finish line, it just feels odd to think that we could be seeing Messi play in the Premier League on a week to week basis. This rumour has floated around before in years gone by, but nothing ever really came to fruition.

Now could finally be the time for Manchester City to make one of the biggest moves in the history of world football.
